With a DJ booth almost as big as the dancefloor, it was like playing at your best ever house party, with a massive sound system thrown in. Amid the sweat, smoke, split drinks and disorder, our mate Mike, MC MAD, jumped on the mic and said “sound of the Groove Armada were superstylin” Even at 4am, it stood out enough to shout in his ear... 'remember that'.
25 years later, the tune that came out of that moment continues to light up dancefloors. It’s an amazing and lovely thing to see.
