Beat-Herder 2024 was a transcendent celebration of music, creativity, and community that once again solidified its place as one of the UK’s most unique and beloved festivals. Nestled in the Ribble Valley, the event brought together an eclectic mix of performers, delivering unforgettable experiences across multiple genres and stages.

The Wailers

A Highlight of the festival was the iconic performance by The Wailers. Delivering Bob Marley's timeless anthems with the same passion and authenticity that made them legends, they filled the air with soulful reggae vibes. Tracks like "No Woman, No Cry" and "Three Little Birds" became communal singalongs, drawing festival-goers together in a blissful moment of unity. Their set was a spiritual experience, offering the crowd a peaceful respite amidst the high-energy chaos elsewhere in the festival.

Sub-Focus

Sub Focus, one of the headliners, brought the house down with his awe-inspiring blend of drum and bass, electrifying the crowd, His set was a symphony of pulsating beats, laser lights, and towering energy, making it a festival highlight. The crowd's reaction to his classic sound mixed with newer, innovative tracks was nothing short of euphoric. It was a journey that left the audience craving more with each drop and build-up.

Goddard with Dread MC

Goddard, alongside Dread MC, delivered a performance that was pure fire.  their sound was a true embodiment of the underground scene. Dread MC’s raw energy and commanding presence elevated Goddard's intricate production, transforming the stage into a riot of movement and heavy basslines. This set was a visceral experience, vibrating through the core of anyone lucky enough to be front and center.

Mandidextrous

Mandidextrous brought the distinctive brand of fast-paced, genre-defying music to Beat-Herder 2024, leaving an indelible mark on the festival. Known for pushing boundaries with hard-hitting Tech tracks, Mandidextrous’ set was relentless, offering non-stop energy from start to finish. It was the perfect outlet for those looking to unleash themselves on the dance floor and ride the wave of pure intensity.

Special Request

Special Request, offered a journey through breakbeats and subversive bass sounds, providing a raw and gritty contrast to some of the festival's more polished acts. His set was an exhilarating deep dive into the underground, with an almost hypnotic quality that drew festival-goers into his world of warped rhythms and dark, experimental beats.

Charlotte Devaney

Charlotte Devaney graced the festival with her infectious bass-heavy sound, delivering a dynamic set that catered to both bassline enthusiasts and dancefloor aficionados. Known for blending old-school rave with contemporary beats, her ability to connect with the crowd was apparent as they danced in unison to every drop. Her set was bold, vibrant, and full of personality—a true testament to her versatility as a DJ.
