Millyanna, is an Artist/Songwriter born into a musically talented family originating in San Antonio, TX. At the age of 13, Millyanna led praise and worship all around the San Antonio area. After years of service in the church, Millyanna followed her calling to the city of Los Angeles, where she had the honor of working on gospel records with Eric Bellinger and Mali Music. Millyanna’s talent and reputation gave her the opportunity to appear on the songwriter show, NBC’s “Songland” in 2020
Millyanna showcased her original song “Safe Place” to world renowned songwriters/artists including, H.E.R, Ryan Tedder, Ester Dean, and Shane McAnally. Although Millyanna did not win the show, the artist “H.E.R” recognized Millyanna’s talent, which led to collaborating in the studio with H.E.R and Jeff Getty.
In May of 2022, Millyanna wrote a Father’s Day song for the Polk family and the reaction video that was posted went VIRAL on Instagram. Spreading rapidly while blessing the hearts of MILLIONS, celebrities and entertainers alike including Tyrese, DL Hughley, Jamie Lee Curtis, Shaun King, etc. showed their support reposting the viral video.
Millyanna recognized the impact of the record and created a universal version of the love song. “Thick & Thin” was released on October 7, 2022 and featured the Polk family from the video in the official music video.
